A mile to the west lies the Ashby canal and the preserved ‘Battlefield’ steam railway. The rally site is all hardstanding and we have the use of the clubhouse in the evening. Own sanitation is essential although the clubhouse toilets will be available in the evenings. The site lies approximately half a mile from the town with access through the adjacent country park. There are easy walks from the site and a bus stop 300yds from the site entrance. Mkt Bosworth has a small supermarket, pubs, cafes and other retailers.
As the following weekend is ‘The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee’ expect some right Royal goings on! The Sparkling Afternoon Tea is confirmed, a street party, games in the evenings and other things we can think up!
The days will be for your own pleasure, but no doubt there will be organised walks and/or bike rides. Unfortunately Camping costs have risen for next year, but all this for right Royal fun is now £90 per unit.
